parklet
This parklet design combines the attitudes of "solitary" and "relaxed" to create a space in which people can “be alone together”. The inorganic and simplistic form of the parklet as well as its repeated vertical elements shelter inhabitants from the busy street while inviting feelings of peace and serenity.
The use of collage for this project draws from the intended use of the space for analog hobbies such as reading, knitting, or sketching.
